Our cozy guesthouse with sauna is located on an island on the Leidsche Vaart near the Braassemermeer. You will find us between Amsterdam (about 30 minutes, car), Schiphol (about 20 minutes, car and 30 minutes, bus) and The Hague (about 35 minutes, car) and the Groene Hart. Many possibilities for cycling, walking (located on the Marskramerpad), boating, cities and/or beaches (25 minutes) to visit. Our holiday park, De Tulpenacker, boasts a unique, green setting by the water, close to the Netherlands' larger cities and the beach. Windmill close to Amsterdam!!

Our romantic windmill (1874) is just a few miles from Amsterdam in wide green fields and along a meandering river: "Gein". Easy access to the A'dam. by car, train or by bike. You have the entire windmill to yourself. Three floors, 3 bedrooms with double beds: it easily sleeps 6, a kitchen, living, 2 toilets and a bathroom with bath/shower. Bikes available + kayak. Just leave some extra money if you did use them. No need to reserve ahead. Great swimming water and small landing just in front.

Relax in the beautiful Papenveer! Nearby are numerous hiking, cycling and boating routes along fields and lakes. Bring your bike or inquire about the possibilities! The cottage has its own entrance with parking space. You will stay on our property, but due to a separation, you will enjoy complete privacy. There is one bedroom, bathroom with bathtub, sitting area with smartTV and a kitchenette with faucet and coffee/tea facilities. A separate stove is available. Parties are not allowed.

2 Floor Apartment with Large kitchen Nieuw-Vennep

Welcome to the holiday apartment top two floors of the house. Own entrance from side of the house. There is a ground floor apartment (mine) and a two floor apartment above (for rent). House is on the water, with many trees, and windows. Big kitchen. Not good if you do not like open staircases. The main bedroom has an attic with extra bed . Close to a supermarket, and the bus to Schiphol (Amsterdam). You may see our dogs outside, and sometimes hear them, when they talk to eachtother.

Roelofarendsveen is one of the largest village centers in the municipality of Kaag en Braassem. This is a polder-rich area, originally a horticultural area, located on the Braassemermeer. There are many possibilities for hiking and cycling. Routes in guesthouse folder. You can park for free in front of the door. We have bicycles for the guests, in principle free of charge, but if you use them frequently, a contribution for maintenance is welcome.
