Due to its own central heating, the garden house is available all year round. The interior consists of a sitting area, a large double box spring, a kitchenette and a private wet area (toilet, shower). There is a TV with cable connection and WiFi. Even in the rain, it is wonderful to sit outside under the canopy. There you will also catch the last rays of the sun.

By car 19 minutes to central station. Exellent location for bicycling, the Beemster polder is just 500 meters away.

Campsite by the lake

Hello everyone, we offer you a campsite in our huge (60,000 m²) garden. Mind you, only the tent site with washing facilities in the house. So you're self-catering. Of course, you can have hot water in the morning - or by arrangement also eat in the evening - we often grill. So you have to bring a tent and a good mood. Swimming in the lake is no problem, as the water is of drinking quality. But at your own risk. Our animals don't like dogs very much. Unfortunately. See you soon!

Wattmuschel country house

Our historic property consists of a 120-year-old schoolhouse and an approx. 100-year-old town hall in the midst of untouched nature on a park-like property. In the old schoolhouse, the Alte Schule vacation home extends over 2 floors with a living space of approx. 140 square meters. In the annex of the old town hall is the guest wing with a wellness area on the first floor and the 2 apartments Samtmuschel (approx. 60 sqm) and Herzmuschel (approx. 50 sqm) on the second floor.

Within walking distance of the center of Bolsward, on the Workumertrekvaart, the original Frisian Eleven Cities Route, is our rural farm. In this rural and water-rich environment, we offer you a spacious room, which is equipped with a large double bed, (2x0.90), TV/seating area and a completely new bathroom with Jacuzzi. Extra sleeping accommodation is possible. We have recently created this new space in our former cowshed, which is adjacent to our private home.

'Old forge' in the green Läd invites you to linger :)

The forge was built around 1920 and used as such. In 2009, the building was renovated and converted into a vacation home and lovingly renovated in 2017 and spring 2022 Ideal for vacationing in this natural area of “Hollesand.” From the in-house terrace with a grill, seating and sun loungers, you can overlook green horse meadows. An extensive network of bike paths awaits a bike ride, for to the "Hollesand," the large nature reserve, only 500 meters from the house.

This nice room is built in a barn has its own shower and toilet. Ten minutes drive to the Wadden Sea. So no beach but dikes with sheep on it. However, a few sprayed fake beaches and the ferry service to Borkum for the real work. Waking up to cackling chickens under your window. Wood-burning stove warmth, with support of electric stove. The price does not include breakfast. Preferably no employees, unless..... Dogs welcome for a small fee.

Unwind and enjoy the great view over the beautiful nature reserve Het Twiske. Along an adjacent hiking trail, you can discover Het Twiske on foot. Here you can enjoy nature, relax on one of the beaches, swim, hike, bike, bird watch and canoe. Special locations such as Amsterdam, Volendam and the Zaanse Schans can be reached in 20 minutes. The guest house is brand new and has everything you will need. There is free parking at the door.
