Welcome to our El Cense du Bergie cottage. You will stay in a rural gîte, completely renovated and located in the heart of the countryside, on the corner of a 400 ha wood, in a working farm. This gîte for 4 people, with 2 bedrooms, one with a king size bed; gîte decorated with 60 m2 of frescoes; all comforts, 80 m2 living space with a terrace of 20 m2, all on the ground floor (living room, kitchen, Italian shower and 1 bedroom accessible to PRM). Gîte Le Sambre

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. The story of our barge, or modern comfort meets the soothing calm of the water, for a total escape. Our barge has not sailed for years but in 2023 was refurbished. The boat dates from 1947, it supplied the barges with drinking water on the Meuse, repatriated about 35 years ago to the Thuin shipyard which no longer exists. It served as a restaurant until 2022 and was then transformed into a gîte.
