Tortue-Cocotte is a refuge for the heart and mind. Perched on one of the highest points of Calvados, in a setting of unspoiled nature, it offers an immersion in the pure beauty of the Pays d'Auge. This half-timbered house in the Auvergne was built in 1784, far from any civilisation and is surrounded by trees that, for some , are now the same age as them. A well equipped private detached cottage suitable for a couple, located on the edge of a beautiful quiet village, just a short walk to the local shop/bar/restaurant Au Village. Nearest supermarket is 5 kilometers away. Well located for Normandy attractions, including Clècy and Les Roches d'Oëtre the Normandy landing beaches and many historic places of interest. Paris is 2hrs30mins by train from Flers, the nearest ferry port is Ouistreham, airports Dinard and Carpiquet.

Small, charming and comfortable cottage at foot of a river and the forest, in a stud farm, in an estate that once belonged to a painter whose 19th century workshop remains attached to the castle. 10 minutes from the city center of Alençon and on the edge of the Ecouves forest, you are in peaceful nature to rest and recharge your batteries. Many walks, at 1km or less, a climbing spot, a trail course by bike and running, fitness trail. Pony club on place.
