Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Geniet van hazen die door het veld rennen en roofvogels die hoog boven je cirkelen. 5 minuten fietsen van het prachtig natuurgebied Egboetswater – dé plek voor wie houdt van natuur, stilte en vrijheid. Maar wie de reuring op wil zoeken zit met 15 min. in centrum Hoorn en met 40 min. in Amsterdam. Kortom een fijne plek, met privé tuin en diverse andere mogelijkheden.

Welcome to Bed & Breakfast "De Fruitige Tuin" of Paul and Corry Hienkens. The B&B is located in Blokker: a small village in the province of Noord-Holland, located near the historic port cities of Hoorn and Enkhuizen. Behind our house (former farmhouse from 1834) is the B&B: a detached chalet (a high light space) located on the edge of the spacious garden. The Forge, 30 min to Amsterdam

Come and stay at the Forge. Aukje gives goldsmith workshops in the barn of our farm, hence the name. Abbekerk is a dreamy village as you often see here. Our guesthouse is next to our farm (the house on the left). Brand new, fully sustainable and very spacious. By car it is 10 minutes to Hoorn and less than half an hour to Amsterdam. We are located on a bicycle route and the local supermarket is within walking distance. We feel very much at home here and hope you do too

The area is perfect for discovering various beautiful places in the Netherlands. Hoorn, Alkmaar, Enkhuizen, Volendam and Amsterdam are all within half an hour's drive. You can reach the IJsselmeer in fifteen minutes and the beach in half an hour.
