The place is located on the beautiful Baltic Sea island of Usedom, about 150 m away from the Achterwasser. Here you can find rest and time to unwind or explore the island from here. Welcome to our Kate in Mönkebude – Mönke's Kate and Meer – at the Szczecin Lagoon of the Baltic Sea Our monument-protected Kate by the sea is at your disposal for your relaxation. The Kate was built about 1850 as an extension for the former large barn house of a fishing family of Mönkebude and used for living until about 1982. Today, our guests recover between the old half-timbered walls made of bricks, clay plastered walls and under the beautiful Reeth roof on about 80 square meters of living space.

Our small apartment (44 m²) in the old town of Wolgast is looking forward to your visit :-) The apartment is centrally located between the harbor and the market. Restaurants, cafes and shopping are within walking distance. Free parking for smaller cars (quite narrow, up to size VW Golf) is right outside the front door. Larger cars can park for free in some parking lots in the old town. The Bäderbahn train runs not far from the apartment to Usedom Island, as well as bus connections.
