Our accommodation "Mummola" is the old main building of our farm in the farmyard in Mehtäkylä. Our accommodation was renovated to a modern standard in 2013, preserving the atmosphere of an old-fashioned granny's house. Our farm is located in a quiet suburb of Kalajoki, 17 km from the center of Kalajoki and 25 km from Hiekkasärki. In our yard, there are rabbits, chickens, cats, and a dog. A trampoline, a go-kart and a sandbox are also available for guests. There is a barbecue canopy in the yard with a gas grill. In the summer of 2026, a yard sauna will be available.

Charming seaside cottage

The cottage is in a great location by the sea. The yard is sheltered, and there is grass for yard games, for example. From the cottage you can go directly to the rocks to admire the sea and from the rocks you can swim in calm weather. There is also a small beach very close by, where even children can swim. In addition, about a kilometer away there is a large, long and beautiful sandy beach. In summer and autumn, you will find wonderful hiking trails, great berry forests and sea buckthorn bushes on the beach. In winter, Pyhäjoki and Kalajoki have great ski trails.

Winter cottage by the river. The cottage is located at the mouth of the river, 500m from the sea. The cottage has electric heating. There is one bedroom downstairs and a loft upstairs. There is also a wood-heated sauna. In winter, you can easily get to the ice fishing from the cottage, and in summer, you can find good angling and fishing waters. A rowing boat is available. In winter, it is also possible to book kick sleds in advance. A hot tub and a smoke sauna are available at an additional cost.

Small detached house by the river

For rent a small detached house in Rautio, Kalajoki! Accommodation includes linens and towels. Wood-fired sauna. The house is not new, but everything you need for a short stay can be found. This 2-story 88m2 vacation home was completed in the fall of 2023 and was commissioned in 052024.

Welcome to spend a holiday in Kalajoki in a peaceful cottage, in the vicinity of Hiekkasärkit. From the cottage, it is about 3 km to the islet along the roads (shorter on foot) and about 10 km to Kalajoki. There are plenty of activities for both children and adults. There are hiking trails in the vicinity of the cottage and the golf course is right next door. The nearest beach is about 400m away.

A tiny cottage in the countryside. Here you can hear the murmur of the stream and the singing of the birds. It is easy to get here by taking an exit from Highway 8. You can park right in front of the cabin, and there is also a car heater available. All facilities are for your private use. There are three wonderful sandy beaches nearby.
