The Old Reading Room West Stafford

The Victorian Reading Room of West Stafford is of historical importance. Used before the war as a Reading Room for the villagers and estate workers, the newspapers were provided, the village shop in the late 1930s, then a workshop and a store room for the church. We have now lovingly restored, decorated and furnished this amazing building into a cosy self catering holiday retreat, "far from the madding crowd" Open plan, comfy double sofabed, wood burner, country walks and fabulous village pub.

The annexe is part of our main house although completely self contained and therefore you may occasionally be aware of the normal sounds of family life

This is one of 2 huts each with off road parking and shared access path down steps to private facilities. Next to our garden and our neighbours. All of which are family homes. A fully self contained hut including a double bed, kitchen with multi cooker, wood burner and en-suite bathroom including hot shower and state of the art composting toilet. Although attached to the main property, it has its own private entrance, private roof terrace and large fenced garden area with private Hot Tub & BBQ, so plenty of space to spread out and relax, whether it's al fresco breakfast in the morning or an evening dip in Hot Tub watching the sun set over fields. We also have outbuildings which can store bikes or if required.
