My small apartment for 2 people in the rustic farmhouse is located in the idyllic village of Goldenbaum, in the middle of the Müritz National Park. It has a kitchen, bathroom and living/sleeping area and private access to the large garden. Goldenbaum offers the starting point for wonderful cycling and hiking tours through the UNESCO World Natural Heritage old beech forests of Europe, unique moor and marsh landscapes as well as crystal-clear swimming lakes where you can find your own beach.

Enjoy the tranquility and security of these ancient walls. Surrounded by ancient trees in the Mecklenburg Lake District. Your apartment is on the 2nd floor and was carefully renovated. We rebuilt the old clay frameworks, uncovered the ancient floorboards and only the finest clay paint was used on the walls. The hideaway is rounded off by a small cast iron fireplace for the evenings and a private sauna on the edge of the field... We love children 🧡🌟 4 cats and 1 dog live on the farm ;-)

It has 4 bed rooms, 3 bathrooms, a large spacious living room with a fire place, a country style gas cooker and it’s own sauna. It hosts up to 7 people (+ one kid). The houses is located in the Müritz natural reserve, 100km from Berlin and Ofers stunning views. The closest lake is 800 m away. The property is equally charming though all seasons. Perfect for a family vacation for up to 8 people.

In the evening you can sit comfortably by the fire or read a book on the comfortable couch with a glass of wine. From Groß Markow you can explore the surroundings by bike or by car. The place lies between Lake Kummerow and Lake Teterow. The Baltic Sea can be reached in just an hour.

You will have a great time at this comfortable place to stay. The bright apartment can accommodate 2 to 4 adults and max. 2 children. In the fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with shower and toilet, you will find everything you need. In the bathroom and kitchen we provide you with everything necessary. The vacation rental is in the attic so they have to expect sloping ceilings. Pets cost 25 euros per stay and no heavier than 10 kilos.
