My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). Hideaway Log Cabin

Unique place has a style all its own. It is private, one year old now and hand worked by owner. NO PETS. Small 350+ sq feet. Open floorplan, no separate bedroom. Large front porch with wooden rockers. Kitchen is very small, with most everything except for oven. Has two small ponds with fish in them loaner poles and tackle in closet no license required. It's in the woods there is wildlife, stream and old growth trees to view. Park style charcoal grill in the yard. Hammock, picnic area at ponds.

The Rock Retreat

This beautiful log cabin, previously known as Indian Creek Cabin, has been an important part of the Hanging Rock Community for many years. It began as the Hanging Rock Outdoor Center. The property is adjacent to the Indian Creek Trail area. It is within a few miles of the Lower Cascade Falls, Dan River, Moore's Spring bike trails, and of course, Hanging Rock State Park. Adventure awaits with ziplining, kayaking, canoeing, and river tubing excursions within minutes of the front door.

A family heritage 1850 log home that was completely renovated in 2007. The front porch overlooks Stony Knoll vineyard grounds and tasting room which is across the street. This wine lodge consists of 1 full bath with a shower and jacuzzi, 1 double bed, 1 king bed and 1 single bed loft. A fully furnished kitchen for all meal prep. The Raven's Nook is a renovated historic building in downtown Pilot Mtn. You can walk to local shops, and restaurants. You are only a few minutes from the iconic Pilot Mountain as well as a short distance from many other outdoor activities. The Raven's Nook offers a studio feel with its open floor plan. It offers a kitchenette, eating area, full private bathroom and queen size bed. Great space for two or cozy enough for one. New mattress as of 2025.

We have seasonal berries and a well-stocked fishing pond. Visit the state parks then come home to catch a breeze on the porch swing, watch fireflies or roast hotdogs at the fire pit.

Conveniently located and it promises not to disappoint.....During Mayberry Days, I have initiated some changes due to a cancellation. Price per night is 150 and there is a 2 night minimum. This is a very special time in Mayberry, fun for all ages.
