The Mecklenburg Lake District lies between Berlin and the Baltic Sea. In just under 2 hours, you can get from the capital to our small village, 7 km off the B 96. From the separate 1200 sqm plot in a village location, you have a clear view of the countryside and the starry sky, as well as plenty of choice for possible excursion destinations in a paradise for the landscape and for birds, or for heading to the swimming lake. Here you can enjoy the tranquility of the Mecklenburg Lake District far away from the tourist hot spots. The cottage is located directly on the lake with a private jetty and boat. It is somewhat hidden on the edge of the village of Wanzka, where there is an old monastery. The monks have certainly already appreciated the tranquility and the unique location in the middle of two lakes. Even if you are completely undisturbed here, any accompanying kids will quickly find a connection at the nearby bathing spot of the village.

Your retreat on Lake Zootzensee: in the morning barefoot to your own jetty, jump into the water or paddle off with the boat. In the afternoon, watch the sunset in the hammock. Inside, large window fronts provide a lake panorama, the fireplace for crackling warmth. Summer and winter a place to breathe, dream and enjoy – in the middle of the Mecklenburg Lake District. The holiday resorts of Zechlinerhütte (about 4 km) and Rheinsberg as well as Flecken Zechlin (about 9 km) are in the immediate vicinity.

Lovely holiday apartment at Warbende Parish House

Enjoy the tranquility and security of these ancient walls. Surrounded by ancient trees in the Mecklenburg Lake District. Your apartment is on the 2nd floor and was carefully renovated. We rebuilt the old clay frameworks, uncovered the ancient floorboards and only the finest clay paint was used on the walls. The hideaway is rounded off by a small cast iron fireplace for the evenings and a private sauna on the edge of the field... We love children 🧡🌟 4 cats and 1 dog live on the farm ;-)

A house in the fields

The house stands alone in a sea of fields, swept by the wind, in a large perennial garden. With many fellow artists and friends, this formerly unspectacular guesthouse from the 90s was rebuilt and renovated, and a garden was created with the help of landscape designer Rainer Elstermann. In constant growth and change, an idyllic place was created – and is still being created – which can accommodate 10 people in the guest area and 8 people in the mainly privately used studio area.

We rent this beautiful apartment in our large, rustic farmhouse, which we have lovingly renovated exclusively with natural building materials. The apartment faces southeast and you can have breakfast in the morning sun. It has everything you need for cooking and when the moon rises you can light a small fire in the garden. In the Mecklenburg Lake District, there are an incredible number of great lakes and you can go cycling & hiking. Blankensee/Meckl. even has a train station.

Enjoy a quiet, relaxing break on your own lake property. You will stay in a beautiful vacation home with lake view and direct access to Lake Lübbesee, including a private jetty. It has three bedrooms and one bathroom on each floor. In the living room is a fireplace, for a cozy time on colder days. You have the choice between three terraces to enjoy the lake in the best possible way and a kayak to make excursions. Have fun in your lake house!

Time out at Lake Tollensee

Our house on Lake Tollensee is a beautiful place to disconnect from the noise of the city. Located directly on Lake Tollensee (a few minutes' walk away), which, with its clear water, invites you to swim or go stand-up paddling. Or to beautiful bike rides about 35 km around the lake. The location between Neustrelitz and Neubrandenburg gives many opportunities for shopping or visiting restaurants.

Whether alone, as a couple or with the family, with us you will find peace and relaxation. Our individual cabins are within walking distance of Lake Tollensee and offer a magnificent view over the Nonnenhof Nature Reserve. Turn off the time and lose yourself amidst the chirping of birds and the buzzing of insects. Breathtaking sunsets and a fantastic starry sky included.
