The vacation home is located in the sleepy village of Märkischheide, the gateway to the Spreewald. Located somewhat elevated on the mill mountain, you can look out from the bedroom into the treetops of the small village park. (If there's snow, you can even toboggan a little here.) It is quiet here and it lives undisturbed. From here you can take cycling tours to the Spreewald, the nature reserves and the nearby swimming lakes. Or you can relax on the covered terrace, barbecue or sunbathe in the courtyard.

This is a 300 year old picturesque house in the countryside with ca. 250m2. Ideal for larger groups with up to 13 people, who can cook and eat together or play pool billard in the large living room which used to be a restaurant in former times. Located close to the famous Spreewald, you can go hiking, paddeling or do bike tours. The house has 3 ancient fireplaces and no central heating, but we provide electric fans. Quiet, very nice house/property near the Elbe.

Beautiful, enclosed and very quiet plot at the end of the small village. Beautiful view from the upper terrace on the Elbe landscape and the river Elbe. The Elbe is about 400m away. 200m away begins the nature reserve Alte Elbe Kathewitz. Large hedges to the neighbouring plots and a separate door to the Elbdamm. The cottage is located between green landscape and the flow of the Spreewald ( it is about 20m to the river). It is rather minimalist, but has everything you need, TV, shower, kitchen... but it has no wifi connection. Perfect to put the phone away and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The house has direct access to the river. There are also two mini bikes at the house with which to explore the surroundings.
