Close to the nature reserve Brånsjön, the ski slope Middagsberget, 4 km to central Vännäs and 30 km to central Umeå. Buses within walking distance. Animals are on the farm but the farmhouse is hypoallergenic, no animals stay there. Wifi is available.

Stärkesmark is 15 km from Vännäs and 40 km from Umeå. In Vännäs, there is a grocery store, pharmacy and restaurants. There is also a smaller grocery store in Tvärålund 8 km away.
