In winter, there are ski trails on the lake and an ice hole for winter swimming. An idyllic place only about a 10-minute drive from Umeå.

Arnäsleden with great opportunities for hiking passes just a few hundred meters from the house. Inside Örnsköldsvik, there is also the well-known adventure pool Pardiset.

En barnresesäng finns att tillgå vid behov.Rinnande dricksvatten finns i köket i tillbyggnaden. Från maj till september finns även dusch. Cyklar går att låna för den som vill ta sig ut. Vid älven finns även tillgång till en mysig grillplats, och även möjlighet till bad. I Lycksele finns både djurpark och badpark. Häbret är på 50 kvadratmeter. 25 på varje våning

Det händer något med oss när vi tar oss tid att bara vara. Att leva det lite primitiva livet för en stund utan för den delen behöva tumma på alla bekvämligheter. Att släppa på vardagens bestyr, lägga ifrån sig mobilen och låta sig förunnas av det som finns runt om. Tända en eld, paddla kanot, titta ut över vattenbrynet från sängkanten då även bävern kan simma förbi ibland, koka kaffe och laga mat över öppen eld. Sängen är färdigbäddad när du/ni kommer.
