If you like an exciting theme park, you can get to the famous Futuroscope in 40 mins, and Poitiers is a town full of shops, history and architecture. The Marais Poitevin, known for its waterways, is 1 hour away which can be explored by bicycle, canoe or guided boat trip.

The cottage, a ground floor house of 38m2 overlooks a private terrace with plancha and garden furniture, a view of the garden and the pool 12x5m, heated from May to September. Our cottage has been sympathetically renovated and is a uniquely individual space retaining a wealth of originality, blended perfectly with a contemporary feel. We can welcome 6, with two double bedrooms and a large double sofa-bed in the galleried landing area. A spacious living area leads to a quiet outdoor patio with rural views. The grounds the cottage are located in are surrounded by a large moat which contains unprotected deep water. Unsuitable for young unsupervised children.

In the heart of the Poitevin marsh, on the immediate edge of the river, in a quiet area, the accommodation is ideally located to travel between Niort, the marsh, La Rochelle, Ile de Ré, Futuroscope, Vendée, Puy du Fou, Palmyre Zoo, Ile d'Oléron… Christelle and Jean-Michel, former boatmen guides, will be happy to introduce you to the marsh. You will have at your disposal, free of charge, a boat, a canoe and two bikes.
