The cabin has a full custom kitchen, full bath, and a private view of the Matanuska Glacier from inside the cabin or from the deck. Prepare your own meals in the fully equipped kitchen, or dine at our local lodge across the road. The Glacier View Log Cabin sleeps up to 6 and has TV, wifi, and woodstove heat. Glacier View Alaska near Pinochle Trail. Cabin #1 Small cabin at the Pinochle Trail Campground and near trailhead and the Matanuska Glacier. Hike or ride from your cabin. 4 sleeping bunks with foam mattresses, electricity, heater, coffeepot, and hot water kettle provided but you'll need to bring pillows, sleeping bags, and WATER. An outhouse is in the woods by the cabin and in the campground. If the snow is too deep you may have to park at the trailhead parking and walk 300 feet to the cabin.

This is a perfect location for a several day home base to explore the Copper Basin, Wrangell St. Elias National Park and Valdez. With a fully equipped kitchen, a kid corner and good reads, you will feel right at home.

Kennicott-Mt. Blackburn B&B

This new 18x20 Alaska cabin is near McCarthy airport. Complete kitchen and tiled walk-in shower. The best view by far of Mt. Blackburn, Ice Fall, and the Kennicott Mine right from the deck. You won't want to get off the deck. We offer vehicle transportation during your visit for a small fee (gas). Usually $10 for two days. We offer breakfast and light lunches. Bottled water too.

Located at the end of the road, there is minimal traffic, it's a nice, peaceful cabin in the heart of Alaska! Fireweed Guesthouse is perfect for adults 21 years and older but IS NOT SUITABLE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN AND INFANTS.
