Sophielund is a very large, unique and beautiful country estate located in scenic, quiet surroundings with forest as a neighbor and close to Gudenåen. You can walk, hike, run and cycle (mountain bike) and swim. Train station 1 km. Shopping 800 m. The property is located between Viborg, Aarhus, Silkeborg and Randers. If you are a large family or a smaller group (max 8), Sophielund is the perfect place for fun and activities. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗

I live within a short distance so can quickly be there if you need help or need anything.

Take a walk on the large natural grounds, in the forest on the slope down to the small stream, hang out by the small garden pond or get your pulse in the air on the garden trampoline. May say hello to the base's hedgehogs, deer and pheasants.
