The studio looks west with a wide view of the Gantrisch area. Therefore the day ends with a lot of sun. Flowers bloom in the garden in front of the room from spring to autumn. The apartment is furnished in a cozy shabby chic style.

The property is located in a rural environment, 5 minutes away from the motorway A6, 10 minutes from the Thun centre and 25 minutes away from Bern. The location is a good starting point to visit the Bernese Alps or the Emmental.

This spacious apartment is located in the cozy attic of a typical Emmental farmhouse named Bühlmenschwand. In addition to the hosts, friendly dogs, cats, sheep, donkeys and chickens live on the Bühlmenschwand farm. From here you can enjoy beautiful walks through the adjacent woods and meadows, or further discover the Emmental by car or bike.

The studio is located 200 meters altitude above Lake Thun surrounded by forest and meadows on a small farm. The wooden house is over a hundred years old. We live as a family in the house, aged 4-81. We are only partially accessible by public transport. 500 m steep walk to the bus stop.
