Rantamökki

Beautiful sauna cabin (floor area approx. 39 square meters) on the shore of the clear water of Valkealampi! It sleeps four people. The cottage has a sandy beach, in winter an ice hole. You can ice fish or fish in the summer. You can jump into the water from the lovely steam of the wood sauna. Relax in the tranquility of nature. Nearby you will find, among other things, Kontiolahti's ski slopes and trails, biathlon stadium, Paihola's frisbee golf course, summer café (about 6 km), Pielisjoki and Joensuu (21 km) and Koli National Park (about 54 km) services and activities!

Villa Myyry villa on the shore of Pielisjoki

Villa Myyry is a cozy and well-equipped villa on the shores of Lake Pielisjoki in the village of Paihola, Kontiolahti. The villa has 77 m downstairs and a large loft. The location is in a quiet rural environment.  The driveway is right up to the door and there is plenty of parking space in the yard. Allergy-friendly, pets are prohibited. You can access the cycling trail directly from the yard or go snowshoeing on the ice of Pielisjoki. The ski resort Kontiolahti Biathlon is about 10 km away. The landlord lives next door.

Log cabin by a clear water lake

Small log cabin with spectacular lake views. There is an extendable bed (2x80cm) in the cabin, as well as a kitchenette (running cold water). Sheets and towels provided. Electricity. Rent includes private use of a spacious wood burning sauna by the lake, about 2h per day (sauna also used by the owners). You can book your slot at arrival. Access to hot water in sauna (heated by wood). Dry toilet next to the sauna. Use of a rowing boat. Cabin is located 50 meters from the house of the owners.

Höytiäisen rannalla olevassa mökissä saat viettää lomaa ainutlaatuisen järvimaiseman äärellä. Puulämmitteisessä saunassa on pehmeät löylyt ja näkymä järvelle. Lattialämmitys ja takka lämmittävät talvella. Ruuan valmistaminen Airfryerillä, mikrossa tai terassilla kaasugrillillä. Juomaveden saa suoraan keittiön hanasta. Vieraan käytössä on koko mökki, jossa nukkumatilat kahdelle, sauna, wc ja pieni keittiö. Ilmalämpöpumppu takaa sopivan sisälämpötilan. Keskustaan 13km. Ruokakauppoihin 9km.

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Villa Myllymäki

In the villa Myllymäki, built on top of Myllymäki with my own hands, it is easy to relax and get close to nature while enjoying the magnificent scenery. A window the size of the entire end wall frames the magnificent lake landscape. The farm has about 40 hectares of forest for animal grazing, which guarantees easy and fine hiking terrain. The distance to the center of Savonlinna is 10 km by car or 6 km by boat. The farm also has a private lean-to by the pond with equally stunning views.

High quality renovated (100 square meter) stunning house 15 meters from the sandy beach of Kuorinka. The house is peacefully located about one kilometer from the public road. The beach is shallow and sandy, water is extremely clear. The house has two spacious bedrooms, a livingroom-kitchen, a large utility room, shower, sauna and separate WC. The living room offers a fabulous view to the lake. The house is surrounded by a large terrace. In the yard is an outdoor sauna and a campfire.

There is also culture nearby, e.g. Valamo Monastery (12 km), Palokissa Ronttopuisto (16 km) and Varistaipaleen canals and museum (12 km). Karvio's rapids and shop are 7.8 km away. The cottage also has a small rowboat and a paddle board. Note: Well water has not yet been tested, so bring drinking water with you
