(You will need to bring BBQ ingredients, charcoal, and equipment such as a stove) There is a swing on the wooden deck. There is a hammock in the living room. And from the windows, you can see the great nature of Ikeda-cho from anywhere, and hear the babbling of the river and the chirping of birds. It is also convenient as a stopover point to the Dinosaur Museum and Eihei-ji Temple. [River Swimming] The Asaba River flows behind Sakura-sho, and in the summer, it is a hidden playground where local children come to play in the river. You can walk there. I am an Artist / Photographer born in Kyoto I started hosting because I love meeting people from all over the world and making new friends. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Private cypress bath and renovated rooms and made another entrance for the Guests. So now it is 2 separate house Please check the house rules before you book.

The area aournd the house is once small castle town. The house is located next to the Shrine, Hiyoshi-Jinja, where the Omizo Festival is held on May 3 and 4 every year.
