Kala Nera is also a great starting point for outdoor activities such as hiking, horse riding, swimming in the crystal clear waters of the beaches of Pelion and skiing between January and March. Επιπλέον υπάρχει άμεση πρόσβαση σε "ιδιωτική" παραλία, ενώ το κατάλυμα βρίσκεται σε οικόπεδο 2 στρεμμάτων με ιδιωτικό πάρκινγκ, μπάρμπεκιου και άλλες ανέσεις. Ο χώρος βρίσκεται 16 χιλιόμετρα από τον Βόλο και αποτελεί καλή βάση για εξόρμηση στο Πήλιο.
