Treffurt has a very special charm with its beautiful castle, narrow streets and timber frame. The district of Schnellmannshausen belongs to Treffurt, "Schnelli" as the locals say here, is located at the foot of the Heldrastein, which is considered the most beautiful viewpoint in Thuringia. Sleeping places in the countryside, bakery, homestay

We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air, a free spirit and are open to guests. The bakery with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and timeless comfort is located separately on the property. Next to the residential building (40 m away) is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophise, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, pure reduction! Adventure instead of luxury.

The red site trailer on the edge of the village offers a cosy place for your getaway. Time to unwind and enjoy the simple pleasures of life in nature. Beautiful hiking trails invite you to explore. Hills, lakes or forests—you choose. The site cabin has everything you need for a relaxed stay: a washbasin, a hob and a fridge. You can relax in the 140 cm double bed or on the cosy sofa. In winter you shower in our separate apartment. The wood-burning stove keeps you warm.

On 60 m² there are two bedrooms with double beds, a living room with a cozy fireplace and sofa bed as well as a well-equipped kitchen and shower room. Holiday apartment "Zum Rosenborn" - Wanfried

Visit the beautiful half-timbered town of Wanfried in northern Hesse. Wanfried is located in the Werra-Meissner district and borders Thuringia. Here you can hike, walk, cycle, swim, canoe on the Werra or sit comfortably in a nearby beer garden. Our apartment is completely refurbished, equipped with a new kitchen and a new bathroom. Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

Quietly located, the Documenta city of Kassel is about 15 minutes away.
