The Old Dairy, a rural Norfolk hideaway

For over a hundred years, this characterful old dairy was where the cows were milked at Hawthorn Farm. Sympathetically and luxuriously converted into a two-bedroom cottage in 2017, it is self-contained and completely detached. Inside, original walls, beams and vaulted ceilings give it a spacious, airy feel. It has its own fully-equipped kitchenette, and a bathroom with a large shower, WC and basin. The spacious 18 x 14 foot carpeted living space has two huge comfy sofas and a table and chairs.

Hayloft at The Stables

A 2 bedroom first floor flat with kitchen, cosy living area, and bathroom, above our home on the ground floor. You share our front door, but access the flat through a door to the stairs immediately on entering the hall. Sleeps 4. Bedrooms are in the eaves, so have restricted head room in places. Excellent broadband. It was the hayloft above an old carriage house. A peaceful setting in pretty village, with a pub, a short drive to Diss. We live on the ground floor. Large garden, good parking.

A large modern kitchen and a real woodburner in the large sitting room. A private patio outside with fairy lights at night, a bbq, firepit and private garden at the back of the property.

Self-contained accommodation overlooking the river Waveney with full kitchen, dining and lounge area (including reclining sofa, smart TV and wifi), upstairs is a double bedroom with en-suite. Our annex is complete with spacious double bedroom, shower room, lounge & kitchenette. The Annex is located next to the Norfolk & Suffolk Avaition Museum and The Flixton Buck Inn for great food & locally made drinks. Flixton is a small rural village, 5 minutes to the historic town of Bungay, 20 minutes to the Norfolk Broads, 30 minutes to Southwold. 20 minutes to Norwich, 40 minutes to Bury St Edmunds or Ipswich. Our central location is perfect for holidaying in Norfolk or Suffolk.
