Mökki means “cottage” in Nordic Finnish. Please spend your time as you like in a special space that is detached from your daily routine. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho in northern Nagano Prefecture, blessed with forests, lakes and snow. There are nature-rich sightseeing spots such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri, and Togakushi in the vicinity. The building of the pioneering era was renovated fashionably with plenty of natural materials such as pure cedar, cypress and plaster.We also paid attention to the interior and kitchen utensils so that you can enjoy "living". In the back of the building, there is a forest with a stream, and you can enjoy a walk in search of the blessings of nature, as well as swing hammocks.In the east house by the river, you can enjoy BBQ and bonfires without worrying about the weather. In the green season, as a base for hiking, biking, fishing, and sup golf, the snow season is also a great base for winter sports, including skiing and snowboarding. We renovated a riverside villa in the forest of Karuizawa. The grounds of this great location are about 2,500 ㎡! Feel the extraordinary atmosphere with a large sofa and fireplace in the living room, a large yard and outdoor dining. In the bathroom, you can enjoy a JAXSON jet bath, a large sauna for 4 people that can be used at the same time, and a rain shower in the bath. Please note that in a natural environment, insects may occur indoors during your stay, as we are renovating an old villa. If you have an excessive allergy to insects, please refrain from booking.

The time flows graceful here, while the interval of farm labor or works in the mountain. It is a special time to have Coffee or Beer while looking at Mt. Morai on the other side. You can spend time, being surrounded by nature... reading books slowly, taking a walk the mountain, listening songs of birds while lie on a hammock in the forest.
