Sleeping places in the countryside, bakery, homestay

We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air, a free spirit and are open to guests. The bakery with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and timeless comfort is located separately on the property. Next to the residential building (40 m away) is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophise, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, pure reduction! Adventure instead of luxury.

Das Haus ist Mitte der neunziger Jahre im skandinavischen Stil errichtet worden und im Jahr 2018 aufwendig renoviert worden. Heute lädt das Haus zu idyllischen Abenden und zum Entspannen & Abschalten ein. Kochen mit Freunden ist in der sehr gut ausgestatteten Küche ein Genuss. Sauna und Bad sind ein Traum. In our cozy country house apartment on the edge of the village you can relax wonderfully and enjoy “life in the country.” Whether for a break from everyday stress, for creative work in the home office in the countryside or for visiting friends and family, you will not lack anything in Hörste. The village-famous “Villa Kunterbunt,” from 1911, once housed the Hörste post office. At that time, the apartment served as a stable for the stagecoach.

Vacation home near open-air museum

The apartment (80 square meters) is on the ground floor, in a quiet residential area. The open-air museum is very close. Free parking is available on the property. A garden with large lawn, barbecue area, as well as a covered balcony with garden furniture is available. Bicycles can be stored in a lockable garage. The possibility to charge the battery exists there. The highway (A33, A2) can be reached in less than 10 minutes.

In my lovingly furnished apartments you will find the ideal starting point for tours around the Externsteine, the Hermann Monument and all other worthwhile excursion destinations in Lipperland. The apartments are centrally located yet in the countryside. There are shops, pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance, and the Externsteine are 'around the corner.' The apartments are non-smoking apartments, no pets allowed.

My mono Teuto

NEW: Right next to "Mono" is another house, "Nest in the Forest." You can also visit. Or both… “Mono” is a trailer that was converted decades ago. In the course of a complete renovation, it received a timber frame skeleton all around in 2020 (new roof, new insulation, etc.) and thus a first floor. Size: 3.20 by 13 meters. It is called "Mono" because its exterior, like every room inside, is mainly determined by one color.

Spacious apartment / sauna and e-bikes

The attic of this quarry stone house built in 1865 has been completely newly expanded. It has a wonderfully quiet location with views of fields and trees! Rest is guaranteed here! Within walking distance is the golf course and a lake, around which you can wonderfully walk or jog. Bike tours can be easily planned from here... It is about 5 km to the beautiful old town

I am Tiny - a pretty wooden house on the edge of the forest!

I am furnished so that you can find relaxation and well-being. Through my large window front you can look into the countryside... onto a large meadow, trees and bushes. I've been around for 50 years… even though tiny houses are all the rage right now, I've been around a long time… but I've recently been renovated and look forward to welcoming interesting guests!
