Beautiful newly renovated cottage and large slope plot on the shores of the pristine Lake Storträsk. The yard is a quiet and scenic place to spend a holiday, where the neighbors are not within sight. From the terrace you can admire the lake landscape or forest life. The sauna is right next to the beach, you can go rowing or fishing by boat or paddle board. Even in winter, you can always go swimming. In the yard, you will find, for example, a gas grill and a charcoal grill, as well as a campfire place. Bed linen and towels are included in the price.

There is a garden surrounding the cottage. The front garden is open and you can see other nearby houses, the back garden is made more private with a hedge surrounding it. Seafarers and hatmakers have since 1880s enjoyed life on the property where an old stable and cabin were transformed into modern living in the 70s. Now fully renovated keeping the 70s vibe and furnished with Finnish design. The hosts look forward to share the closed cosy garden in the Old Town - you only have 100 meters to the ocean, the old church with its beautiful tower and the market place.

Old Town Garden House & Sauna

Our Garden House nestles in a secluded flower garden along Ekenäs Old Town's most pittoresque and peaceful little street by the sea. The House has its own entrance, two sunny corners for relaxing in the garden, a colourful bedroom overlooking the garden to two directions, a separate toilet, a fully-equipped kitchenette and a wood-heated sauna with a large shower room. In summer, you can go swim in the sea from the pretty little beach around the corner. All you need in life is here. <3

Bright, quiet, and cozy countryside apartment

Vi erbjuder övernattning i en lägenhet med sovrum, kök, badrum och sommarveranda på en liten bondgård. Bostaden har egen ingång från gårdssidan. Husdjur är också välkomna. Utsikt över åkerlandskap och skogsdungar. Ofta kommer vitsvanshjortar på besök. Wi-Fi eller TV finns inte i lägenheten. Bo hos oss några dygn och besök t.ex. Hangö, Fiskars, Matildedal, Ekenäs eller Bromarv. Lämplig övernattningsplats för dig som cyklar Kustrutten eller EuroVelo 10! Sommartid hyr vi också ut två bodar.

In the forests surrounding the cottage, you can hike, pick mushrooms and berries, and the scenic Lake Gölen is a kilometer away. The cottage is located near Billnäs Ruukki, and Fiskars Ruukkikylä with its restaurants and boutiques is also within cycling distance. The wood-fired traditional sauna, which is freely available to tenants, offers deep and humid saunas.
