Our house is located in the UNESCO Lungau Biosphere Park and offers 5 apartments, sauna, Wi-Fi, table tennis and parlour with open fireplace. It is located at the base of the Fanningberg (ski mountain), within walking distance of a riding stable and a pond with climbing park. The farmhouse was built by my father and stands on a large meadow surrounded by mountains. The whole house (10-15 persons) - also for seminars - or only individual apartments can be rented. The individual apartments vary in size, 38-75m2 and can accommodate 2-4 people. They consist of fully equipped kitchens or living kitchens (fridge, stove+oven, sink, dishes, cutlery, mostly also microwave and dishwasher), 1 bedroom with double bed (with bedding) and 1-2 bathrooms (with towels) and mostly with extra toilet. 2 apartments also have a living room. There is also at least one sofa in each apartment, which can also be used as a sleeping option, and a TV. The final cleaning of 30 euros applies per apartment. If the whole house is rented, it is 120 euros. Apart from the winter season, our main season, apartments can also be rented for extended periods of time. All guests can of course use the large lounge with open fireplace. The sauna and table tennis room are for everyone, as well as the entire outdoor area. WiFi is available throughout the house. Our house is located directly at the foot of Fanningberg, a ski mountain. The valley station can be reached without a car, as there is a bus station 150 meters from the house. The ski bus is free, by the way. In good weather conditions you can ski or sled down to the house. 250 meters in front of the house is a small lake with an outdoor park for climbing and boating for all ages. Part of it can be used for free. There is also a riding stable within 10-15 minutes' walk, offering lessons, horseback riding, hiking and horse-drawn carriage rides (all seasons). The footpath to the courtyard is a gravel road, on which driving is largely prohibited, so that children alone can easily be committed. My father, who lives in the house, is happy to prepare breakfast for the guests, if desired. However, he only speaks German, which does not prevent him from communicating with all nationalities with pleasure. If it turns out, he also likes to show guests something of the area. At the farm also lives the Wutz- also called Bärli, he is a grey tiger cat, who is responsible for personal control. I myself am often not at home. After we are in the middle of the Alps, there are many magnificent valleys, numerous crystal clear lakes, managed rustic huts and massive magnificent peaks. In all seasons this area has a lot to offer: hiking, ski touring, skiing, cross-country skiing, horse riding, golf, cycling etc. Besides the already mentioned Fanningberg there are also numerous other ski resorts in the vicinity such as: Obertauern, Katschberg, Mauterndorf, Aineck... - all can be reached in 5- to max 25 minutes by car. Mariapfarr is also known for "Silent Night, Holy Night“. The song was written here by Josef Mohr. There is also a small museum in the Mariapfarr parish court, which is connected to the really worth seeing pilgrimage museum. There are also some churches, castles, castles and other museums worth seeing here in Lungau. The area is also known for organic farmers who produce delicious products and sell them either on the farm or at the weekly market in Tamsweg. Salzburg is just over an hour's drive from our house, Italy is about 120 km from the border, Venice can be reached in about 3 - 4 hours, the Slovenian border is also about 120 km away. Many other exciting destinations are very close and can be thought of for day trips. The nearest airports are in Salzburg (SZG) and Klagenfurt (KLU). A little further away are Munich (MUC), Vienna (VIE), Ljubljana (LJU), Venice (VCE) and Graz (GRZ). Send us your exact flight details and we will find the best connections from the airports to us for you. The same applies to train and bus passengers. We will of course pick you up from the various stops in our area. Guests arriving by car can park directly at the house for free. Please remember that in Austria you need vignettes on the motorways, which you can buy at any petrol station. At the courtyard we have bicycles that can be used by you. We don't have e-bikes. The house is located at the foot of Fanningberg, a ski mountain. Other ski resorts are in the immediate vicinity, such as: the Obertauern, Katschberg.... A horse farm is within 10 minutes walk of the house. There are also numerous opportunities for ski touring and hiking. 13 valleys with cozy huts and magnificent lakes can be found in the biopshärenpark Lungau. The area is also known for its fantastic organic products from farmers. A biopsy breakfast is therefore also available in our offer.

These areas also offer nice hiking, walking and biking opportunities in summer. also enjoy the Stadl lake in summer with 7.000 sm and a big recreational area.

Watch our family work on the farm and make yourself at home on our large meadow. My place is good for couples and families with kids.
