Our apartment is located in the beautiful Saale Valley below the Burgkhammer dam and in the immediate vicinity of Burgk Castle. Relax in a quiet, relaxed atmosphere surrounded by greenery. In our historic half-timbered house, you can expect the warmth of old plank floors and the coziness of antique furniture as well as modern comfort. The small separate garden offers space to relax and for the children to play. We are happy to advise you on excursions, hikes and bike tours.

Our apartment is located 800 m above sea level and about 14 km from the center of Saalfeld. If you are looking for peace and time to rest and relax, you have come to the right place. When master baker Hans Lange settled here in Saalfed in 1546 with the secret Nuremberg gingerbread recipe, no one could have guessed that his business would continue for 19 generations. We, as the 20th generation, cannot bake as well as our ancestors, but we would like to welcome you instead to our former bakery shop and thus continue the family tradition in a slightly different form. Train stations or bus station within walking distance.
