Gas stove and grill available. There's a bed for one in the barn. The sauna has a loft and a pull-out sofa bed. You also have access to a rowing boat and a paddle board. The hot tub heats up for a separate fee. There is a campfire place on the beach. There are a lot of stairs in this place, so please note when booking.

Taiga Kallioranta – cottage and lakeside sauna

TAIGA KALLIORANTA A small, self-catering luxury cottage of 30 m², open all year round, in the tranquillity of Vääräjärvi, between Mäntyharju and Ristiina. A peaceful getaway for couples, for remote working or for a creative break. Here, there's no noise from cars or neighbours; instead, you're surrounded by pine trees, a lake, and a rocky shore. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, a toilet and a bathroom. The highlight of the evening is the sauna, just 10 metres from the beach. Final cleaning is the responsibility of the guests.

The cottage and sauna have a covered terrace where you can enjoy the lake view. The cottage has electricity and an air heat pump as well as an open fireplace. The kitchen has a stove and a full range of cooking utensils. Microwave, coffee and kettle are included, as well as a fridge-freezer. The sauna terrace has a gas grill. The hot tub can be rented for 80 euros/night, not available in winter.

The cottage is surrounded by nature, so you can spend time in peace in the spacious yard playing games or watching birds from the terrace. The yard of the cottage borders the beach, which has a gently deepening sand/clay bottom. There is also a jetty on the beach for swimming or sunbathing. You have a rowboat at your disposal, so you can go fishing if you want. Several guests have been delighted with the abundant fish catch.

For an authentic Finnish sauna experience, enjoy the traditional lakeside wood-fired sauna with its gentle heat. The beach is shallow and child-friendly. The cabin accommodates up to 4 people. (In 2026, the lake water level is exceptionally low, as is the case elsewhere in Eastern Finland. So swimming may be difficult in shallow areas.)

Good opportunities for fishing, berry picking, cycling, golf, skiing, etc. The year-round outdoor hot tub, rowboat, 2 SUP boards and 2 kayaks are freely available to tenants.

Rockhouse on käsin lähipuista rakennettu. Maja on mukavuuksilla varustettu lämmin maja kalliolla luonnon ja metsän eläinten keskellä. Terassilta on näkymät noin 4 km päähän järvelle auringonlaskun suuntaan. Terassilla erilliset maisemasauna ja lasitettu tunnelmallinen grillikota. Mökki on täydellinen pariskunnalle ja oikein hyvät pienelle perheelle. Iso terassi talon ympäri. Osa terassista lasitettu. Oma kaivovesi on juomakelpoista.
