Bàta Oceanfront Cottage is a four season retreat on the Cabot Trail. It has expansive ocean views in a very tranquil environment that is close to nature and also accessible to many Cape Breton attractions: golf, hiking, skiing, artisan shops, beaches and more. It offers four bedrooms (and an oceanside bunkhouse) and is well equipped and tastefully decorated. The wood stove makes for a cozy retreat in colder months. It is on a two acre property with a private beach, large yard, and two decks.

Our cottage is a mere 20 minute drive to Sydney, 30 minutes to Baddeck, 5km to Marine Atlantic. You will love this bungalow because it has all the amenities of your home, including new comfy beds. You will have your own private cottage complete with stainless appliances and in-floor heat. Our cottage is perfect for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids). North Sydney is home to some really great restaurants! This is country living in town!

Woodsy Cabin on the Bras d'Or

Beautiful, rustic cabin sits cozily surrounded by woodlands. This one room retreat boasts a south west vista of the Bras d'Or Lake, includes a veranda with gorgeous sunsets, king size bed and access to the beach. It is half way between Baddeck and Sydney and a perfect spot for anyone travelling the Cabot Trail. Firewood provided for fire pit if the burn ban is not in effect. Kayaks are available to use at your own risk, with life jackets, and if you are experienced in paddling.
