This tiny house is within walking distance to all the beaches in Kisami. (Iritahama is the nearest beach, 7 minutes on foot/11 m above sea level) Especially recommended for those who love the sea, surfing, and swimming! There is also a Wi-Fi environment in the facility, so please use it for long-term stays and travel as a base for workcation and Izu travel. The kitchen is equipped with a single burner stove (gas) and simple cooking utensils, dishes, and condiments. We also provide free rental items for guests to use. Bicycles and kickboards are available for free, so please feel free to use them for a stroll during your stay. If you'd like to BBQ, please check the house rules for details. Also, please note that the facility is non-smoking, so please smoke outdoors. Please see the house rules for smoking areas. Access is 10 minutes by bus from Izukyu Shimoda Station, get off at Iritah stop and walk 3 minutes, or 5 minutes by car from Izukyu Shimoda Station. There is also free parking on site, so you are also welcome to come by car! ※ Please note that the bath is an outdoor shower unit.

Why not experience an extraordinary time with only the sound of nature in a secluded ocean-view cottage in the forest? The cottages are located in Tannon National Park, through the power spot Heart of the Dragon Cave (model for Ghibli's "Red Pig"), and Tannon Beach. The terrace, created to view the starry sky and sea from the ocean, features a jacuzzi and hammock swing, where you can relax and enjoy the gentle breeze. From the terrace, go up one more level to the sky deck, where you can look out and see only nature. A breathtaking view spreads out. You can hear the slow flow of the Izu sea and fishing boats, as well as the babbling of the brook and the sound of birds. It's the best detox. When you enter the front door of the cottage, the green of the trees and the sparkling light of the sea will catch your eye. The 20-tatami mat open atrium living room has a sofa, kitchen with a fireplace, loft, and a relaxing space.

Private 5 min walk to Shirahama beach, BBQ, Deck

This house is a traditional 20 year old Japanese house. It is totally private as it's surrounded by trees. There is a walkway 5 minutes down to Shirahama Beach which is arguably one of the nicest beaches in Japan. We have added a large deck to the house for outdoor living. The bedrooms are very traditional Japanese. The kitchen is large and easy to use. We have a coffee machine, rice cooker, screen with HDMI chord (adapter needed for your device) and blue tooth speaker for your use.

Easy to get to and from Tokyo, as well as local spots like Ryugu Sea Cave, Irozaki, etc. An easy walk to 24hr convenience stores, supermarkets, shops and restaurants.
