Retro-style vacation apartment with everything that goes with it, in teak and with a 1960s atmosphere. There is a bathroom and toilet, two sleeping places in the bedroom and two sleeping places on the sofa bed in the living room. There are bed linens, towels, dish towels and kitchen towels. Coffee and tea (as well as filters) for the first night. There is internet, radio and DVD, board games and books. In the kitchen, there is a refrigerator with freezer, stove, as well as tableware and cooking utensils. There are shopping opportunities within walking distance, both in terms of bakeries and supermarkets.

You will live in your own house, with your own garden where the lovely moments can be enjoyed with family or friends. The house is located opposite the amazing baker, within a short walking distance to Højer Mill with a café, close to a nice ice cream shop, the grocery store and Højer Pølser. The Wadden Sea, the North Sea and the Tønder marsh are right outside the door, and definitely worth a visit.

Die Nordsee und nordfriesischen Inseln befinden sich in naher Entfernung. Umfangreiche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten befinden sich in der Nähe.

Halmhuset - The Straw House

Our thatched house is probably the only "Halmhuset" that is rented as a vacation home in Denmark. It is breathable, made of clay and straw, and is sustainably supplied by heat pump and photovoltaics. In summer, the thick walls provide pleasant coolness, in winter it is cozy and warm, with a room height of up to 4 meters. A real feel-good place for up to 8 people, located at the gates of the city of Tønder, close to the Wadden Sea National Park and the islands of Sylt and Rømø.

From Humptrup, the North Sea is about 20 km away! The ideal starting point for day trips to the North Frisian islands and Halligen (e.g. Sylt, Föhr, Amrum, Hooge, Oland, Hamburger Hallig). The Nolde Museum is in the immediate vicinity and Denmark is only 3 km away.

Thatched Cottage by the Lake

Welcome to our terp in Waygaard near the lake Botschlott. The accommodation is a traditional thatched farmhouse flat with a view overlooking the lake, the surrounding meadows and the North Frisian marshes. It is ideal for nature lovers: you can canoe, cycle and watch the flocks of birds that use the partly protected lake as a migration and nesting site. The house was carefully restored with natural materials in 2025/2026

Holidays on the North Sea

Welcome to the farm Norderhesbüll! My guest room with kitchenette and private bathroom offers peace and an unobstructed view over the North Frisian marshland. The farm is the ideal starting point for excursions to the surrounding islands and Halligen, the Charlottenhof and the Nolde Museum. The Danish border is only 8 km away. We modernized the approximately 200 m² vacation home "Mein Nordstern" with a lot of love for detail in 2021. We have equipped and furnished the house as we like it best. In addition to design classics, there are high-quality beds and selected kitchen utensils that make the house modern and cozy overall. Our sauna is brand new from autumn 2023. Welcome to our apartment Rehkitz im Wald in Süderlügum. Süderlügum is located right on the Danish border on the North Sea between Flensburg and Sylt. Shopping, playgrounds and an outdoor pool are a few minutes' walk away. Special feature: our shops are also open on Sundays and on many holidays. A fishing lake is also nearby, day tickets for this can be purchased from us.
