The spacious open living concept makes it possible to start the day in the dining area with a shared breakfast and to spend cozy, comfortable evenings in front of the fireplace in the living area, even with an occupancy of 12 people. You will quickly feel at home here.

River view & East Frisian dyke sheep

Discover an exceptional tranquility and warmth in the clay-crafted dyke sheep house of the dyke bunny farm. Here you can watch the sheep on the dike from the kitchen table and enjoy the calming course of the Jümme from the bed. On cold days, a small fireplace warms you, in addition to the underfloor heating. Two large patio doors open the space and the view into the vast expanse of Hammrich. Due to the orientation of the house, you are completely on your own despite the proximity to the main building.

The apartment is on the second floor of a detached house. The kitchen is equipped with an induction stove, oven, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. The dining area, a sofa and a TV are also here. In the bedroom there are two beds (2 x 1 m each). The balcony can be accessed from the kitchen and from the bedroom. The Großes Meer is 4 km away. Wiegboldsbur is centrally located between Norden, Aurich and Emden and is the ideal starting point for cycling trips. The coast can be reached in about 25 km.

You will feel comfortable in our cozy loft apartment. You live quietly - in the middle of the countryside - and yet you are just a few steps across the beautiful Schlossplatz in the city center with many small shops and restaurants. The harbor with bicycle and boat rentals, the swimming pool with a large sauna area, one of the most beautiful cinemas in Germany, the walking and cycling paths along the canal and through the surrounding fields and pastures are right on the doorstep.

A vacation for the soul on an East Frisian farm

We live on a farm in a quiet secluded location in the middle of East Frisia with our cattle, horses, chickens, dogs and cats. Shopping and restaurants are 2 km away. And plenty of bike paths to worthwhile destinations - swimming lakes, open-air museums, climbing park.... We'll be happy to give you tips. For our guests there are two bedrooms to choose from - a single bed and a queen size bed. We are non-smokers and ask our guests to refrain from smoking inside the house.

My tiny house on the Großen Meer (an inland lake in the heart of East Frisia) awaits your visit. The peaceful oasis in the countryside is within walking distance of the water. The tiny house has a cozy high-quality sofa bed, cupboards, TV, as well as fridge, kettle, induction stove and coffee maker. When the weather is nice, you can relax in the garden in the hammock or in deck chairs. For one to two people. Small, but special! Ideal for resting and relaxing.

Beautiful cottage on the Ihler Meer

The cottage is located in a quiet cul-de-sac location on the Ihler Meer. Shopping, pharmacy, the monastery of the Ihlower Forest, as well as the swimming beach of the Ihler Meer can be reached in a few minutes on foot or by bike. Ihlowerfehn is an ideal location to explore all of East Frisia. Various coastal regions can be reached in about 45 minutes by car. In the immediate vicinity is a restaurant with beer garden as well as a beautiful playground.

With a cozy and maritime decor, you can have a wonderful vacation in a rural setting, within easy reach of the North Sea. Many enjoy the green surroundings and yet the proximity to shops. With its blue shutters and regionally typical thatchers, the house fits into the pristine nature of East Frisia. From here, the charm of the area can be explored extremely well.

The pedestrian zone as well as sports facilities with De Baalje or the harbor area are within walking distance. Close to shopping (food, drugstore). The proximity to the coast and the swimming lake Tannenhausen are perfect for day trips. The apartment was newly expanded and equipped in 2015/2016.
