The cottage is in the middle of the peaceful and quiet forest with alpacas as the nearest neighbor. Here you can relax and have only nature around you. It is close to cross-country trails, alpine slopes such as Grövelfjäll (within a few kilometers) and Idre fjäll (3.5 miles), snowmobile trails and mountain hiking. A small grocery store is located in Storsätern, about 6 km away.

Hytta har stor inngjerdet terrasse med hagemøbler, markise og gassgrill i tillegg til grillplass med benker og bålpanne på oversiden av hytta. Leies ut til voksne leietakere gjerne barnefamilier. The cabin is located 800 meters above sea level in Hovden cabin area in Engerdal with views of the Sølen Mountains.
