In close proximity you will find Frafjord Sup and Kayak rental, a popular activity on the fjord. Månafossen and Byrkjedalstunet are also nearby tourist attractions. Many popular mountain hikes are also nearby such as Frafjordhatten, Ramnstoknuten, etc.

With only a few meters to the fjord, an almost has the experience of sleeping in the water. At the lake there is a pavillion with a remarkable view where you can enjoy the sunset. A boat and canoe are available for free. It's a very private and quiet location, but still perfectly located in Ryfylke with all its breathtaking hikes nearby. In 2020 the bathroom and hall was totally refurbished, and a fiberoptic cable was installed with a fast wifi-connection.
