The country house "Anneliese" is very idyllic above the small village of Engelstadt in Rheinhessen, surrounded by nature and good air, without light pollution. Here you and your family will find peace and quiet. Not far from the UNESCO World Heritage Site Upper Middle Rhine Valley and the state capital Mainz, you will find a wide range of options: wineries and wine taverns provide for your physical well-being and bike paths lead through the vineyards to the Rhine, where numerous castles can be visited.

Feel good in the vineyards

Take a holiday in the luxurious surroundings of our guest house. It is part of our SCHOTTENHOF winery and integrated into our farm building. The nearest neighbour is about 100 metres away. The 4-hectare farmstead is idyllically situated in the middle of the vineyards and can be accessed at ground level on two sides. You can start hiking or cycling directly from the farm. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, including a wine fridge. Beer pong party people, please don't book!

In the courtyard there is a seating area for cozy evenings available. The nearest city Mainz is only 10 km away and easily accessible with the city bus connection.

I warmly welcome you to Nieder-Olm. Nieder-Olm is located directly south of Mainz in the impressive wine growing region Rheinhessen and thus very well located in the Rhine-Main region. The main train station in Mainz is about 15 minutes by car or about 25 minutes by bus or train. The nearest bus stop (Nieder-Olm Selztalcenter) is minutes from your Apartment No. 1. Frankfurt Airport is a 35-minute drive by car.

Our penthouse (approx. 180 m²) has its very own style. Absolute feel-good atmosphere in the middle of downtown. The roof terrace is great, especially in summer. We are happy to organize a wine workshop. From Mainz you can make wonderful excursions to the wine regions of Rheinhessen, Nahe, Middle Rhine and Rheingau. Mainzer Fastnacht is a highlight. From the balcony you can see the Rose Monday parade.

Knabs-BBQ-Ranch incl. Breakfast

Nice and cozy 2-room-apartment in the middle of Rheinhessen with an amazing view over the vineyards. Apartment got a modern sleeping room with a double bed incl. a flat screen. The second room is a westernstyle saloon incl. kitchen/bar, fireplace and a sofabed. Private bathroom incl. shower is also part of the apartment. Breakfast with fresh buns, jam, cheese, joghurt and coffee/tea is included.

Cottage in beautiful Hattenheim

The cottage (approx. 70 sqm) is a converted stable and is listed as a monument. It is surrounded by vineyards, wineries, restaurants and is only a 5-minute walk to the Rhine. In principle, it is only suitable for 2 people. The cottage is fully equipped with, for example, a washer/dryer, SodaStream, internet-enabled TV, WiFi, lounge furniture on the terrace and many extras. Pets are welcome :-)

As a friend said: this is a Rosamunde Pilcher dream... :) The Gingerbread Guesthouse is a 350-year-old half-timbered house in the picturesque town of Bacharach. In the 100 sqm apartment you should immediately feel at home and enjoy the incredible views of the famous Malerwinkel, the city wall with the Liebesturm and Stahleck Castle. You can't get more Middle Rhine romance.
