Our lovely studio is a large peaceful room. Patio doors open to your own pretty cottage garden where there is outdoor seating for enjoying a glass of wine in the evening. Its a perfect retreat for two after a days adventures in the heart of the Jurassic coast. Close to beaches and a few mins walk from both the local pub serving food and train station, popular sites such as Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, Bovington Tank Museum, Monkey World and Wareham quay are only a 5 min drive away! Old Farm is a traditional stone-built Somerset farm house, built in the 1580's, set in a quiet village, less than 5 minutes' walk to the village pub. 10 miles to Bath & West Show Ground and 8 miles to Wells Which? described Wells as a “compact but perfectly formed gem.” We are also within 3-4 miles of the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a great area for walks, cycling and traditional pubs. The area is surrounded by amazing country pubs, restaurants, walks & cycle routes with country houses & wildlife sanctuaries.
