Wansnig Hütte

The Wansnig Hütte is a spacious rustic alpine cottage, which is nestled in the middle of meadows and forests above the coastal town of Gmünd. The tranquility all around and the proximity to nature make the cottage a place of relaxation. Info: There is only luminous flux and no way to charge electronic devices. I bring the appropriate amount of water to the hut in canisters, as we don't have running water available at the hut due to the drought.

Our stylish and luxurious alpine chalet is located at 1400 m above sea level. Enjoy the 80 m² terrace with panoramic sauna and jacuzzi. The secluded location makes our chalet with a bottle of wine from the in-house wine cellar something very special. In winter, the Kreischberg, Grebenzen and Lachtal areas invite you to ski. In summer, hikes and a visit to the district capital of Murau are recommended.

In winter, Grossarl has a state-of-the-art ski resort with beautiful downhill runs and deep snow slopes. Since our house is located on a hill at 2.5 km mountain road snow chains are recommended in winter.
