With private parking and its own entrance, you can be sure of a wonderfully relaxed and peaceful stay. This area is a paradise for walkers, with many walks very close by, and a local pub only 1.5 miles down the road.

Our purpose-built super cosy Shepherd's Hut is directly on the Three Castles Walk, tucked away in a private corner of the field next to our own Eco home. Outside, there's a gazebo with table and chairs and a smoker barbeque. You can lie in bed watching the sheep and cattle in the distance or you can relax with a movie on the large screen. It's the most peaceful location we have ever lived in, and we'd love you to experience it.

The Garden House is a peaceful stone cottage set in the historic gardens of High Glanau Manor, the home of H. Avray Tipping (1855-1933) the Architectural Editor of Country Life Magazine from 1907. High Glanau Manor is an important Arts & Crafts house set in 12 acres of gardens designed in 1922. The gardens retain many original features including formal terraces, octagonal pool, glasshouse, pergola and 100 ft long double herbaceous borders. There are spectacular views to the Brecon Beacons

The bathroom boasts a large shower and a double-ended roll top slipper bath. Outside is a large decking area with your own personal Hot Tub to relax in after taking on some of the many walks in the areas.

Be prepared for instant relaxation in this peaceful rural spot at an historic watermill on the banks of the River Monnow, the only sounds are those of the river and the local wildlife. Take a glass of wine or BBQ down to the river in the early evening and be sure to see the kingfisher flying down the river and trout jumping. Walkers can join the riverside Swan walk, which runs through the Ruthlin grounds and woods and fishing can be arranged on request.
