Fogensegaarden near Bogense has an unusual location for an old farm. A few meters from the beach on the island of Fogense, which was dammed and the road into Bogense drained and protected by a dike almost 150 years ago. An enterprising farmer, Christian Jensen, built the farm 130 years ago in its current form with a large farmhouse and a humble tenant housing at the southern end. It is the main house, which after several modernizations is now rented out in the coming season to holiday guests.

Marielund is a danish farmhouse (est. 1907) in a beautiful and isolated spot right by the baltic sea. It has been completely refurbished, and includes modern amenities, a fireplace and good quality Scandinavian country style furnishing (completed in May 2020). Stunning location, 40 meters from a private beach with direct access through the large south facing garden. Enjoy the sounds of the sea, birdsong and the nights sky in absolute privacy, with no neighbours or tourism to be seen!

The house is furnished with large living room, utility room, 3 separate bedrooms - 2 with double bed 160 x 200 and one with 140 x 200 + bunk of 90 x 200. Additional alcove with bed of 140 x 200 cm. There's a brand new kitchen with new appliances. Attached to the house is covered with dining area - south facing. There are new floors and brand new quality beds, all sleeping 9.
