The village contains shops, pubs and the River Orwell, and all are within walking distance. Plenty of parking, you will have your own private entrance and west facing patio to enjoy the Suffolk sunsets. Two TVs and compact but full kitchen with washer / dryer. Well-behaved pets are allowed but please note the outside space is not fully enclosed. All bookings via AirBNB please.

Steeped in history and originally the forge, our Snug is situated in a popular location within CLOSE PROXIMITY OF SEA FRONT. The property is beautifully presented throughout being just recently renovated in 2025. The property consists of spacious entrance hall, large lounge dinner, quirky bathroom( but mind your head if you use the shower) a simple but useable Kitchen, the double bedroom is just big enough for a perfect nights stay and quiet enough to sleep through the night.

A beautiful large farmhouse, dating from approximately 1600 and listed Grade II, in acres of idyllic gardens and overlooking a mile-wide river estuary. There is direct access from the bottom of the garden onto the ‘sea wall’ along the river, for walks and wonderful birdwatching. There is a duckpond (fenced) by the house and chickens (collect the eggs), and a large summerhouse with veranda in the garden, as well as a paddock of alpacas!
