We designed it as an inn to get away from the bustle of the city and just soak up the "tranquility". The bathroom features "WABURO", a harmonious blend of the scent of cypress and beautiful tiles. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-machi, which is blessed with forests, lakes and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture. Nearby are the natural wonders of the Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri and Togakushi. You are free to use the entire property, including the comfortable building renovated with natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster, the natural garden with its seasonal scenery, and the forest with its flowing stream.In the forest, which has been well maintained, you can see birds, squirrels and martens, and you can enjoy walks looking for wild vegetables and mushrooms, as well as swings and hammocks. When there are no fireworks, we recommend taking a walk along the banks of the Shinano River, buying a bento and a drink, and relaxing on a bench overlooking the river ♪ It is about 15-20 minutes on foot from the station, so you can also come on foot. There are many bars, sushi shops, ramen shops, restaurants, and shops where you can taste Niigata specialties around the station. You can compare sake at the Ponshukan at the station. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience.
