You can fully enjoy mountain sightseeing at this time of year, such as Kamikochi, Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, Hakuba and Happo Pond.From the second half of August to September, the summer bustle subsides, and it's a time to enjoy the quiet of Shinshu. Go to the mountains and highlands during the day, and the tranquility of Satoyama at night. This is a rental cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and a starry sky. As a base for sightseeing in Azumino and Hakuba/Kamikochi, you can enjoy a comfortable stay for one night or more. With easy access to Hakuba, Kamikochi and Tateyama-Kurobe, it's perfect for group trips, family holidays and longer stays.With a washing machine and a bathroom dryer, it's comfortable for extended stays. You can also get here by public transport, but it's more convenient if you have a car. Free pick-up and drop-off is available at Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station.Other pick-up and drop-off services, as well as sightseeing transfers, are available for 2,000–8,000 yen (round trip) depending on the distance, provided the journey is within 2 hours each way.Please contact us in advance if there are 5 or more people, as we can arrange car rental. There are still some weekday slots available in September. It's also recommended for student trips in the second half of the summer holidays, or for couples and small groups.

　Guest House Rin is located at the edge of a rice field at the foot of Mt. Kurohime in northern Nagano Prefecture. The farmhouse warehouse has been renovated, so it is spacious enough to relax in the living room with an atrium and the bedroom in the loft. Please have a quiet time under the thick beams that have withstood the wind and snow for a long time. Large dogs can also stay with you. 　Shinano is a town blessed with mountains and lakes. There are also paddle boarding and canoeing on Lake Nojiri, cycling along the lake, and forests where you can enjoy forest therapy. In winter, you can access the Ginjo Gondola, the Kurohime Slope, and nearby ski resorts. Kurohime's slopes have a dog run in both summer and winter, and in winter there is also a lift that you can ride with your pets. 　If you have time, we also recommend taking a walk along the rice paddies that extend to the distant ridge line. 　It is about 10 minutes from Shinanomachi Interchange and about 20 minutes from Shinshu Nakano Interchange. There are many attractive tourist spots in the surrounding area such as Joetsu, Shiga Kogen, and Togakushi. 　The kitchen is also equipped with cooking utensils, so I think you will enjoy cooking. 　 　There are 2 beds in the loft and 3 futon sets in the back room. 　Please note that the area is rural, so there may be times when you can hear farming work.

In the gazebo by the stream, you can enjoy a BBQ or a bonfire without worrying about the weather. It's ideal as a base for hiking, fishing, stand-up paddleboarding and golf during the green season, and for winter sports during the snow season. It is located about a 10-minute drive from Shinano-machi IC on the Joshinetsu Expressway, with excellent access by car. As a base for sightseeing in all seasons! 15-20 minutes by car to Togakushi, Iinuma, Kurohime, Madarao, and Myoko. In an area with famous powder snow ski resorts, you can easily enjoy winter sports in the winter. Well maintained! The private sauna is equipped with a Finnish wood-burning sauna stove. You can also enjoy a self-lowering bath. Enjoy a luxurious sauna time and forest bathing in a water bath with a magnificent view of Mt. Kurohime. You can enjoy the comfort of warmth and refreshment at the same time. It has 4 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 9 people. We also have a bathroom, toilet, air conditioner, washing machine, and dryer, so you can stay with peace of mind even for consecutive nights. For winter heating, there is a pellet stove, so please relax and enjoy.

This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)
