A Curuxa country house is located in the heart of Valdeorras. In our small 2-story house you can enjoy a kitchen-living room with a sofa in front of a beautiful fireplace, a bedroom with a large double bed, a fireplace, a bathroom and a balcony. You can also enjoy a beautiful garden on the banks of the river with a barbecue and a wood-burning oven where you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner under a palloza and a sofa under a pergola. If you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway, it is guaranteed.

The village is located between three important points: Spain (5 minutes), Bragança (12 minutes) and Miranda do Douro (25 minutes). Take the Bike and get to Spain in 10 minutes, as well as a Basilica in 5 minutes and a Roman Bridge.

This place has special significance for our family because it was here that as a child, we would spend whole days watching over the cows, reading and dreaming as the sun moved across the sky towards dusk. We have recently completed renovations, adding solar & central heating and we would love to share it with people who are looking for a unique experience in an unexplored region of Portugal.
