Apimonte - O Cantinho da Maria - Montesinho PN

Apimonte O Cantinho da Maria is a Rural Tourism establishment that was completely rebuilt in 2022. Traditional architecture, the rigorous use of materials, Stone, Wood and Granites were considered the key elements during the reconstruction. The shale (local stone), the charm of wood and its architecture decorate the entire building. Functional and well-equipped, the kitchen is an important element. The bedroom and the 2 bathrooms were designed to be functional, but very well framed in the structure.

This place is our sacred go-to spot when we want to get out of the city and immerse ourselves in nature. This place has special significance for our family because it was here that as a child, we would spend whole days watching over the cows, reading and dreaming as the sun moved across the sky towards dusk. We have recently completed renovations, adding solar & central heating and we would love to share it with people who are looking for a unique experience in an unexplored region of Portugal.

The El Gato Negro Rural House is located in a unique setting in the heart of the Sanabria Natural Park. It has a room with a 1.35 cm double bed and another with two 90 cm single beds. It has a bathroom with a shower with a screen, toilet and sink. The kitchen and living-dining room occupy the same space with direct access to the porch and garden. The house is equipped with all kinds of kitchenware, sheets, towels and some toiletries. It also has a fireplace and barbecue.
