In winter, you can enjoy its beauty and harmony. The village is about 30 minutes by car from Torre (the highest point of Serra da Estrela), 30 minutes from Seia and 40 minutes from Covilhã.

We are nestled in the beautiful rolling countryside just between the city of Castelo Branco & Fundao. This beautiful yurt is situated right on the edge of our land. In a lovely peaceful space between the trees, with a view to the Gardunha mountain. We offer a double bed, small kitchenette with pots & pans, gas cooker, fridge with small freezer compartment, compost toilet, shower & wood for the log burner in colder months. My place is close to the Tower/ski resort (about 15 min). The house is in a mountain village, at 1100 m altitude, being considered the highest village in Portugal - Elderberry. Within a 10 km radius there are several lagoons and river beaches, for example, the Rossim Valley and Lagoa Comprida, Loriga and the beach of the village itself. My place is good for couples, individual adventures, business travelers, families (with kids), large groups, and furry friends (pets).

Excellent for a couple or an individual who loves the simplicity, purity and silence of nature. The house includes an open kitchen and living room, a 11 m2 mezanine for sleeping, an outside shower, compost toilet in a 5000 m2 forest garden with granit boulders, natural structures, sculptures and chillout places.

It is a renovated stone house located above the village fountain, popular in the surrounding area for its pure water. Novelães is a very quiet village just 5 km from the foot of Serra da Estrela between Gouveia and Seia. The house has a large space with 3 bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Guests can enjoy silence and peace, walk through the woods and visit the surrounding natural attractions.

In the same space, there´s a hot tub you can enjoy (private and not shared) and only available for the house guests (extra fee applies).
