Larriston Coach House, for a very rural stay

Larriston Coach House is a large four-bedroomed cottage, part of a very rural 19th century farm steading on 28 acres, with 2,500 acres of hillside starting at the doorstep. It's right on the Scottish Border, close to Kielder and Newcastleton (both five miles away), and ideal for visiting Kielder observatory, Kielder Forest, the Borders or north Northumberland. There’s plenty of space, inside and out, including an enclosed sunny courtyard and undercover barbecue area with a suspended log fire.

A space to rest and relax in the Scottish Borders

Part of a Steading (barn) sympathetically converted in 2006, overlooking woods and fields from its own enclosed garden. The cottage is ideaI for exploring the Scottish Borders and Northumberland. One hour by car from Edinburgh, 35 mins from Lindisfarne and 45 mins from Bamburgh. If you'd like to leave the car at home and cycle to us it is 13 miles from the station at Berwick-upon-Tweed. Tucked away down a small lane, you can walk or cycle from the door or simply sit and watch the wildlife.

Foulbog is a charming traditional shepherds cottage set on a working hill farm in rural Dumfriesshire. In a very remote location surrounded by rolling hills, with spectacular views down the valley. Although completely remote and secluded, this cottage has been recently refurbished with a cosy homely feel and has all the modern amenities needed including unlimited WiFi, luxury shower and log burners. Plenty of scenic walks on the farm, cattle and sheep grazing nearby plus an abundance of wildlife makes this the perfect spot for total relaxation! Nearby is the award winning Coldingham Bay and St. Abb’s Head National Nature Reserve and the beautiful city of Edinburgh, an hour’s drive, famous for its castle and festivals.

Nestled in the heart of the Pentland Hills, this traditional stone shepherd's cottage on a working hill farm looks out over scenic Baddinsgill Reservoir.
