Chalet 11, Kingfisher stands on the edge of the small-scale holiday park "de Lente van Drenthe", in a quiet place. Verder zijn er drie nationale parken in de buurt, NP Weerribben Wieden, het Drents Friese Wold en het Dwingelderveld.
