A day trip to the Unesco World Heritage Site Wilhelmshöhe Mountain Park including Hercules is worthwhile. Great hiking trails (e.g. Habichtswaldsteig). Rewe, Aldi, pharmacy and ATM in the village. Swimming pool and cinema 10 minutes away by car.

Vacation at Gut Sauerburg

Our farm, with our animals—sheep, goats, Muscovy ducks, chickens, cats and our dog Elli—is located just 5 km from the A7/Malsfeld exit, yet in a completely secluded spot in the middle of a nature reserve. You can use and explore our 20,000 m² property. Not far from our farm, you’ll find a unique vantage point. Here with us, the hare and the fox say goodnight to each other. There’s also a trampoline/slide/sandpit/table tennis table, etc.

Welcome to our apartment in Kassel Wilhelmshöhe, a 5-minute walk from the ICE train station. Thanks to direct train connections, you can be in the city center in 15 minutes. The Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe (World Heritage Site) and various shops, cafes and supermarkets are within walking distance. The apartment is located in an old coach house and was lovingly and faithfully restored 10 years ago, which preserved the rustic charm.
