Unique Dutch Miller’s House

This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

De woning bevat 2 tweepersoonsslaapkamers, een ruime woonkamer, een grote open keuken met vele inbouwapparatuur oa. vaatwasser, een eettafel, een badkamer met douche, een inpandige schuur met oa. wasmachine, een zonnige tuin met terras en een schuur met fietsen.

In the two cozy bedrooms you will find a double bed and two single beds. The apartment has been completely refurbished in 2020. The large living room offers a lot of living space. Together you eat generously at the long table with six nice chairs. Of course you can have modern conveniences such as WiFi, BluRay, Chromecast and Spotify Connect.

"Holiday home near the beach and in the center."

We, a family with 4 children (8, 11, 14 and 16 years), have a holiday home next to our house with its own entrance and parking space. The cottage is within walking distance of the charming village center, just like the beach (approximately 500m from the cottage). 750m away is a beautiful hiking and nature reserve the Zwanenwater. Good base to explore Amsterdam, tullip fields, old villages, dunes and the nearby beaches! The house was lovingly renovated with a new kitchen, a modern bathroom, and antique details for a luxurious yet charming feel.

Heidehof is een vrijstaand vakantiehuis voor 6 personen op een van de mooiste plekken van Texel. Aan de Westzijde van het eiland nabij de bossen en het strand met vrij uitzicht over de weilanden, de duinen en het kerkje van Den Hoorn. Hazen, buizerds, kiekendieven en uilen komen regelmatig een kijkje nemen bij Heidehof. ‘s Avonds geniet je hier van de mooiste sterrenhemel van Nederland, warm gehouden door het houtvuur in de vuurplaats.

Een uitstekende startplek voor fietsroutes.
